To find this Halloween letterbox travel to Hobby Hill Park

Directions to the park:
This 39.3-acre park is nestled at 76th Terrace and N. Main, 3 blocks west of No. Oak Trafficway.

THE LEDGEND OF HOBBY HILL PARK

According to an old story told to me by my great-grand father, a headless horseman roams this park by the light of the full moon. Be warned!!! He often follows the path this letterbox is hidden on so I would recommend searching for it during the day.

To start your journey, follow the concrete path towards the dark forest looming ahead. When the concrete ends, follow the rock path towards the large oak tree. From the oak tree, walk down the carefully and quietly to the path at the bottom of the hill as to not awaken anything that may rest in the woods.

Step over the exposed roots into the forbidding forrest and follow the rocky path. Don't be alarmed if you hear the sound of distant hoofbeats hitting the rocks- it's probably nothing. When you come to the creek step across the waterfall carefully, legend has it that the fallen tree to your right was knocked down by the headless horseman as he chased the last letterboxers who invaded his forest.

After you cross the creek you will ocme to the headless horsemans's riding path. If you want to survive this journey you will go to the left. As you go along the horsemans path you will come to a very important choice you can either go left or right. Do not go left it is a trap set by the horseman in an attempt to lead you towards his lair! Eventually this shadowy path will lead you to a fork. Whatever you do don't go straight down the main path- Who knows what may happen if you do! Take the overgrown path to your right and walk 14 steps to the tri-trunk tree. Don't let the three fingers of this tree grab you, because they won't let go. This is where the horseman has hidden his treasure. Looking at the tree, reach into the ivy spiraling up the right side at the base, here you will find what you have been seeking. Please be careful- danger lurks about.

I hope you make it out safely!!! Happy Halloween.
