Sadly, this box has gone missing. If it is replaced, I will update!
This letterbox celebrates the completion of a fellow letterboxer's thesis as she finishes her schooling in Fort Collins!
:::applause!:::
In Fort Collins, find the intersection of Hwy 287 and Cherry St. Go west on Cherry, turn right onto Mason Court. Turn into the dirt parking area on your right, but do not park in the first lot.. drive through the first lot, down a short dirt road and park in the 'lower' lot.
From the parking lot walk to the intersection of the trail where you will find a covered sign which says, 'Fort Collins Trails System'.
From this sign walk 60 paces north.
You will be at a large metal pipe coming out of the ground.
From this pipe walk at 240 degrees for 19 steps.
On your right a huge tree stands between two concrete pipes and a low rock wall.
Search carefully and you will find what the tree is hiding.
Congratulations, Cattail (mlk)!
Hand-carved stamp
Handmade journal
