Background: The Chula Vista Nature Center is part of the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The Nature Center has great live exhibits of raptors, stingray and sharks, shore birds etc. There is a small charge for entrance to the Nature Center but it is not necessary to go to the center to find the microbox.

Terrain: Easy
Directions: Take the E Street exit off I-5 in Chula Vista and head west. The road will lead to the parking area for the Nature Center. Park in parking lot. Take the shuttle bus to the Nature Center and enjoy! When you're ready to find the microbox return to the parking lot.
Clues: At the corner of the single Handicapped parking space there is a clump of bushes. In the leftmost group you will find the sandpiper microbox wedged in the fork of the branch at ground level.
