The Orange Show is sort of like letterboxing. It is difficult to describe, and you either get it or you don't. It is a folk art treasure located in downtown Houston. Before setting out in search of this box please check the website www.orangeshow.org for seasonal hours of operation. The orange show itself is located at 2402 Munger Street, Houston, TX 77023.

This box is designed to be a scavenger hunt of sorts, to give you a chance to look around and discover all the surprises the Orange Show holds. Be sure to bring along an ORANGE stamp pad when searching for this microbox!

CLUES: Pay your dollar entrance fee, enter the show, and have a ball!
1. __ Find the story about the two eager frogs. The moral of their story is "_ _ _ _ a kicking." Use the second letter in the missing word.

2. __ Find the wooden cigar store indian and the big stuffed bear. What does the indian hate? _ _ _ _ _. Use the third letter of this word.

3. __ What is your house made of if you should not throw stones at another? _ _ _ _ _ . Use the first letter of this word.

4. __ What is the easternmost state where oranges are grown in the U.S.A.? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . Use the second letter.

5. __ Find the two stone lions. Use the last letter of the male lions name.

Now, put these five letters (in the order that you found them) together. _ _ _ _ _. Pass between the two stone lions, and look to the back wall to find a silver one of these over the "captain's quarters". The microbox is hidden behind him. Hope you loved the Orange Show as much as I do! Send me an e mail to let me know the status of this box.
