Little Ruth's Letterbox

Behind the monument find Ruth's tree-stump monument.
Little Ruth was only 2 years old when she died of croup in the middle of the night. Her family lived right on Harvester Avenue. They missed their darling daughter so much they spent all they had on a monument representing the things the young child loved, and the family's grief can still be felt after all these years.
Standing with Ruth at noon her letterbox is at 7:00 along Ellicott's wrought iron fence.
