NOTE: Someone took the logbook but left the stamp in the box! We'll return the box when we get the logbook back or when we get a new logbook.
If you took the logbook by accident--which is what we figure happened--send us an email.
This box is easy to find.
Kid-friendly, stoller-friendly, elderly-friendly, handicapped-friendly (but someone else would need to retrieve and rehide the box), leashed pet-friendly, etc.
Bring your fishin' pole. Pond limit is 4. Trout are unlikely but rumored, though you can catch crappie, bluegill, and catfish.
This park doesn't seem well-maintained; bring a garbage bag and pack out some of the junk.
If you're allergic, bee alert.

From Harrison Blvd, turn W at the light onto 4400 S. You'll pass through the little Harrison Depot Mall toward the Hospital.
Turn South just at the W edge of the mall, before the road divides. This is soon after your turn at the light. This road curves around the hospital to Emergency. You won't be going that far.
In less than a tenth of a mile, turn left at the little metal sign that says "Nature Park." This takes you into a small dirt parking lot.
Walk the car-track from the SSW corner of the parking lot past the cattails and through trees to the pond. A short dock will be directly in front of you. The letterbox is almost directly across the pond from the dock.
Go left from the dock, following the path almost exactly halfway around the pond.
On the other side of the pond, look on your left for a big old tree with five trunks and exposed roots. This isn't the treasure tree. The dock should be visible across the pond from here.
Continue from the 5-trunk tree for 15 - 20 steps to the next big tree with multiple trunks and exposed roots, also on your left.
Almost behind this tree, on the right under the roots, is the letterbox, hidden behind some rotty sticks, bark, and leaf debris.
You are visible from the path, so please be discreet and rehide the box well.
