MISSING

This is the first of a series of boxes dedicated to England and all things English around Houston.

This first box is located at one of Houston's English-style pub/restaurants. There are a few in the city, but this one is our favorite. Go on in for a drink, or lunch, or dinner. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is okay for families too. There is a large life-size chessboard outside to keep your mind entertained. Great for Sunday brunch outside. From I-10 exit Studemont and go south. Studemont turns into Montrose Blvd. as you continue down. Go to 'The Black Labrador'. (it's an English-style pub/restaurant on Montrose Blvd just south of St Thomas University. Look for the red phone box in front.) Go around to the parking garage behind the building. It is 3 stories. Park on the first floor (normally the only one available). Find the concrete stairs in the middle of the garage. Go up to the 2nd floor of the parking garage. Once you come up to the second floor, go around the stairwell and around the corner to head back down towards the first level. Walk down the ramp against the wall. When you get near the bottom look up at the concrete rafter that goes over the drive. You should be at the 2nd rafter area up the ramp from the bottom. The box is in a camo ziploc and placed up in on the ledge near the wall. It lays quite flat. Note: It is up high - about 7-8 ft. Sorry about that, but it was only place in that area. Make sure you have someone tall with you or you may not be able to reach. Hopefully, it will stay out of the reach of non-boxers! If you are into using different ink colors, red is recommended for this one. (and maybe a black marker) Our first placed box! Please let us know the status: teamking@entouch.net and/or log your find on Atlas Quest and we will be notified. Thanks!
