Umbagog Lake is a beautiful spot to visit. We often see eagles , osprey, moose, and lots of other wildlife. If you go around Pine Point to the north you will see a small island. not visable on a map. looking back toward pine point there is a camp with a flag pole. half way between the two is where you head for land, go toward the huge rock that comes up out of the water. it is flat enough to walk up on. kind of peach and black colored you will want to be on the right hand side of it, go straight in by the stump toward a big hemlock, go left look for the white rock hexagon shaped, looks like its holding up another big rock, tucked in behind you can find our pines.
Look for osprey if you have time.
Hope yor day is a sunny one.
