Difficulty: Easy
Time: 15 minutes for all three boxes

Note: I checked on these boxes Sept, 2005: Box #1 was still there, though it needs a new log. Box #2 had poison ivy nearby (climbing up the tree - beware!), so I really couldn't check to make sure if it was there or not. Box #3 is missing.

For all boxes, follow these initial directions:
I-40 West from OKC to Yukon. Exit Cornwell. From the exit ramp, turn left and go straight through the light. Just past the light, turn right onto Holly. Follow it around and turn right into the "Freedom Trail Playground." Park close to the bridge on the NE corner of the parking lot.

Box #1: "SWANK"

Cross the bridge and start heading aroung the pond clockwise on the paved path. On the North end of the pond there is a dirt path on your left down the hill that is perpendicular to the paved path that you're on. When you approach the dirt path, there are two very large multi-trunked trees on your left. Look on the backside of the second one. This MICROBOX is nestled where a trunk used to be.

Box #2: "30'S GRACE"

From the "Swank" box, go back up to the paved path and continue on around the pond. At the NE corner of the pond, you will come to a RR tie staircase. Go up the stairs and to your right, you will see a nice bench shaded by a large, lovely tree. This MICROBOX is tucked away where the trunk splits. PLEASE REHIDE WELL.

Box #3: "FEELING ELEGANT"

From the "30's Grace" box, go back to the (now gravel) trail. Continue clockwise around the pond. Near the peninsula, don't forget to "Keep our Parks Clean & Green." The path curves to the left (SE). Before the Trees of Oklahoma's Western Region, there is a short dirt path (not gravel. It almost looks more like a little clearing than a path) to your left around the bend. Stand on top of the shallow, wide mound beneath the interesting & mesmerizing tangled web of branches. To your right you can see a house. To your left (West) is a small, broken tree trunk, about 4 feet tall. Inside under debris is hidden the MICROBOX. PLEASE cover back up with more debris. If tucking the box back in is difficult, you may have to remove some of the bark and dirt from beneath it before it will fit back in nicely.

PLEASE REMEMBER: Do not let anyone see you, especially when finding and replacing the box; Reseal well; Let us know how the box is doing! Thanks and hope you enjoy! NEW e-mail cameoboxer@yahoo.com
