**This box was replaced 3/8/2015**

This letterbox is the second in a series commemorating the history of Northern Colorado, and will take you to various outdoor historical sites

Windsor, Colorado has a history for its farming and it‘s railway. Farmers would use the rail to send goods near and far, helping keep this small community up and running. When this box was originally created, the museum located at the park in this search had an exhibit titled “Rails to Windsor” displaying photos and effects from Windsor’s railroad history.

Clues:

1. Halfway between Fort Collins and Greeley is where you will find this town.

2. Along Main Street travel to the street that has something in common with the State of Maryland and President Andrew Jackson. Turn north.

3. Follow this street to "Betula" street and turn right.

4. Follow this road until you reach a parking lot and park.

5. Find the historic 1882 Colorado and Southern Railroad Depot at the village.

6. Nearby, you will find a number of picnic tables that can be used to stamp in.

7. In this area you will find a museum specifically for firefighting. I recommend going in to see history for yourself if you have time.

8. At the northeastern corner of this building, under some large rocks you will find “The Locomotion”.

Please attempt to hide the box better than you found it as this location can draw many people that may not appreciate letterboxing the way that you an I do. Also, since this is a very public place, please be discreet. There are many picnic tables and places to sit nearby where you can stamp in. Leave a message in the journal if you wish. If you want, please let me know when you find the box and it‘s condition. After you are done, check out the museum and other historical buildings in this area or feel free to walk around the lake.
