WINGS & THINGS SERIES PLACED BY AMANDA BRILES THE PAISLEY ORCA & CARIE LENNEN OF LENNENS 3

This series is located at the Wake Robin Environmental Learning Center in Longview, Washington.

1. Bumble Bee
From the first houe, take trail directly across from driveway. Go straight taking no side paths. When you come to a married pair of trees on your right, look in between the two.

2.Chickadee
From the Bumble Bee box at the two married trees continue on the path. When you come to the gravel path go down. You will see old mossy to your right. A stick and moss hide the entrance at the base where Chickadee reigns.

3. Stellar Jay
From Old Mossy, keep going down. At the "Y" in the path, go right. Come to 4 birch trees on the right of the path and a small jutting log toward the pathway. The Stellar Jay is hiding beneath the jutting log.

4. Beetle Bug
Continue on path between water and clearing. Hope over stream and up. Go over bridge. First bundle of trees on your right holds Beetle Bug close to its heart.

5. Lady Bug
Up, up, up you go. And ten to the left toward where you began. Go straight. At the gravel road go left. Meander past facilities beyond Alder Canyon Forests. Between two mossy trees take the path to your right. At the wide woodchip path go right and up. The jagged stump on the left of the path, behind and within Lady Bug awaits.

6. American Crow

--- THIS LETTERBOX IS REPORTED MISSING AS OF JULY 2005 ---

Continue up and over the thin downed tree. When you see a tree with a hobbit house go knocking at the back door behind moss for the American Crow.

You are now done with the Wings & Things Series at Wake Robin.
