A Monkey has escaped from the Greenville Zoo!
He was seen leaving the Zoo by the front gate and turning right to swing from lamp post to lamp post (occasionally diverting to play on the playground). When he reached the far parking lot, he was seen heading South on a paved path that led up to the street bridge. He went over that bridge and made an immediate right onto a path that had the river on the right and the field on the left. He stopped to play Frisbee with some dogs in the field but soon continued on passing Shelter #5. He spotted the metal "monkey" bars and could not resist swinging from them. As he followed the path around he was intrigued by the large yellow and red play sculpture and stopped to play on those as well. Soon, he was tired and hungry and decided to search for food.
He spotted a trail across the street that had the name of a very important bird. This was a good place to look for food, he thought. He followed the path into the woods until he saw a low rock wall on the left of the path that extended about 100 feet. At the end of the rock wall was a large tree on the left and slightly behind on the right was a terrifying creepy hand tree!!
The Monkey was so frightened that he ran 28 monkey leaps (long steps for you and me) to another large tree. Behind that tree is a row of bushes with a rotten log in the middle of them. Monkey is hiding behind and slightly underneath the rotten log covered by some branches.

Bring a Stamp pad and pen :)

This trail can be busy on weekends and is somewhat visible from the road above so please set lookouts and re-hide very carefully. I hope you enjoy this box. It was our very first plant. -MerMom and Kool Kitten
