This box was hidden in an area that is very special to our "team". Just down the road from here is where our family has its "weekend getaway". We placed this box to commemorate our first annual family reunion, which took place the weekend we planted this box.We found out about this particular location from a geocache that we found (which is just down the trail from our box, for those of you that may be interested in it). I have gone out to our cabin every weekend of my childhood and never knew this was here. It is located on a truck trail on Carr Corners Road.
Directions:
From Main Street in Randolph, take Larkin Street to Pine Hill Road. Pine Hill Road then turns into Pierce Run Road at a point that when we were kids, we called "the top of the world". The view is quite amazing from up there. Anyway, take Pierce Run to Carr Corners Road. At the top of the first big hill on the right hand side is a truck trail.

If the gate is open, drive up to the stone barrier. At times the entrance gate is closed so you may have to trek on in. There is another gate at the stone barrier with a stop sign hanging on for dear life. Look to your left where you will find a tree stump. This is where you will find our "Weekend Getaway".
Just a note for those who may wish to attempt this in the winter months. From December 1st to April 15th, the roads may not be maintained through the trails so some major hiking through the snow may be involved.
