ALIVE & WELL AS OF 3/31/05
ALIVE & WELL PER SEEKERS TWO (ATLAS QUEST) 8/12/12
Clues:
Walking Distance: once again, I forgot to measure. I would stay 1/4 mile each way, maybe a little farther.
Incline: There is an incline. I would consider it on the steeper side, but my 2 & 3 year olds walked up it.
Kid Friendly: Yes, if they can walk uphill. =]
Dog Friendly: Yes, I belive so.
Time: Maybe 20-30 minutes.
Please note: This is SNAKE and MOUNTAIN LION country.
Getting There:
Across the street from Matthews/Winters Park is part of the Dakota Ridge Trail. There is a parking lot there called "Hogback Jurassic Park & Ride" and this lot is called the "Stegassuarus Lot".
Finding the Box:
Start walking up Raptor Migration Station trail. Right before the second gate the trail makes a u-turn and then goes left. Shortly after making that turn you will see a pine tree with a large rock by it. Behind this rock, under many smaller rocks is where you will find this stamp.
When rehiding this stamp please check from ALL directions that the box cannot be seen. We had to add more rocks when we walked past it and came back as it was very noticable from that side.
Please email me with the status of this box. debbi821@yahoo.com
