On our annual trip to Eagle Crest, the Fleshman's and the Lennen's placed the second annual Eagle Crest box. The artwork on the stamp was done by our 11 year old nephew Oliver DeRosier ( who is now hooked on boxing!), John carved the stamp, and Carie made the journal!

To EagleCrest:Hwy 97 to Redmond. Take Hwy 126 West towards the Sisters ( Highland Rd.) Follow road about 5 miles to Cline Falls Hwy, and follow signs to Eagle Crest Resort. (approx. 1 1/2 miles)

To the Letterbox:
Enter Eagle Crest's left hand entrance

While at Eagle Crest it is against the rules to feed the raccoons, as tempting as it may be.

**Clock Tower?? Kids playing outside by a fountain?
**Eagle Lake, beautiful to look at but be carefull not to walk on thin ice.
** Need a place to park? You need to park near "America's Favorite Pastime", right field would be just perfect.
** Now get on the bike path and walk back from where you once came.
** Be sure not to get "corralled", Caution : Road Apples!
** Dont' get "TOO TEE'D" off!
**Take the path less traveled. This is a path just past the 2nd tee by the road.
** Gravel to dirt path, do you need to rest?
**OH NO, a fork in the road? What do you need a fork for? We told you not to feed the raccoons.........well stay low and we will continue our search!
**Rocks in your way? Can't go around 'em, can't go under 'em, we must climb over them. Keep going!
** STOP......Stop walking,.....don't move, wait no, don't go any further or you will go over the cliff! Now,to your left there is a rock wall down there........you need to get down there in front of it......the raccoons are right in the base of the wall, behind the dead log..........we won't tell if you want to just feed them a little bit!

** There are two other boxes here at Eagle Crest, enjoy them too!

Have fun, and remember this is snake country, be careful sticking your hands into holes! Watch for wildlife, we saw a Mama deer and her fawn, on the path you just traveled. This is such beautiful country, enjoy the wonder of it all!
