It's a beautiful hike to Miners Falls, especially during Spring wildflower season. It's about .6 miles from the parking lot to the falls.

To find the box:

Bypass 1,2,3 and 4,
And 5 and 6 and 7 and more.
Between 8 and 9 hit the bench for a rest,
Then go behind 6 paces* to find the nest.

It's tucked 'neath a log at the base of a tree,
A big fat maple, tall as can be.
Pace back to the bench and open the lid --
We hope you'll like the stamp we hid!

*12 steps

(Reported missing. I checked on 8/14/2005 and much to my chagrin, it was indeed gone. I placed a new box on 8/14/2005. This is a high traffic trail. Please be careful about being seen -- or maybe carry a roll of toilet paper in your hand as an alibi!)
