From I-35 take the Tonkawa exit (highway 60). Take highway 60 East to highway 77 South of Ponca City. (This is also 14th street in Ponca). Take 14th St north three stop lights. The Pioneer woman statue and Museum should on the corner Northeast of you. Turn left on Lake road and head east until you reach Kaw Lake.

You will pass by a water park and a small tavern/eating establishment then look for a sign that says, "McFadden Cove Day Use Area" turn East onto this gravel road. Turn right at your first opportunity and locate the restrooms at the picnic shelter #1. From the NW corner of the restrooms follow the trail up into the trees about 15-18 paces it should be in a hollowed tree about three feet off the ground. It is hidden with pieces of bark.

Enjoy and please put back into same location and hide with bark or leaves when you are through. This is a hand carved stamp!

Visit "Buc's Lee" letterbox while you are in the area.

Have Fun!
