From the parking lot, follow the Gorge Trail down hill. Make a sharp left to remain on the trail. Carefully cross the small streams that occasionally cross the path Cross over a large, well built bridge and stop to watch the water cascading over the rocks. Then, continue on the trail following the river as it travels downstream.
When the trail turns left over a footbridge STOP. Do not turn left. Instead, continue straight on a faint path along the stream until you find a small section of stone wall. If you look across the river, you will see that the wall continues. Turn your back to the water and walk 10 to 12 steps down the stone wall. Look under a large flat rock to find the Gorge Letterbox.
After stamping in, return to the footbridge and cross the river. Climb up the rocky, rooty path enjoying glimpses of the gorge and cascading water. When you reach the big bridge from the beginning of your hike it is time to start looking for your second box.
From the end of the bridge, look 180 degrees for a rain drop shaped hole in a tree. Peek inside the hole for the Camping Letterbox. Continue up the trail the way you came to return to the parking lot.
