Start at the center of the main parking lot of the W.S. Carpenter Jr. Recreation Area of the White Clay Creek Preserve on Route 896 North going out of Newark.
Go North northwest until the end of the mowed area.
Turn right and follow the edge of the field.
Continue straight down the path. You are now going East Southeast.
Follow the path. It curves to the left.
Continue until you see a path with a "No Bikes" sign branching off to the left.
Turn left down this path. You are now going North.
Follow the path down into the ravine.
Pass a small bridge on the left and a green walker on the right.
Curve around to the tree stump and find a way across the small stream.
Pass another bridge on your left. At the intersection go Northeast.
Follow the path along the stream and up hill. Keep going on the zigzagging trail.
Walk between a cut log and pass a hollow snag in the center of the trail.
As the path curves around to the right, look for a large fallen tree on the left that used to be part of a pair.
From the tree that's still standing, walk West for about 12 steps to the roots of a beech.
Wolfbox is waiting for you with a small gift!
