In the Hobbit, Bilbo and the other travelers have to venture through Mirkwood, an eerie forest where they encournter giant spiders and lose their sense of time. Don't drink or eat anything in the forest—you'll hallucinate and be trapped there forever.
From I-25: take the exit of a ‘Christian denomination that starts with a B’ east until you see a lane named after ‘a red furry woodland animal.' Turn left and pass Woodmeadow Drive. You'll see a water treatment facility and a gate into another neighborhood on your left. Look for a split rail fence that goes sharply up hill.
Park on the street and follow the gravel pathway along the fence. The trail leads between the Ridge at Fox Run neighborhood and The Sanctuary Pointe neighborhood (build on what used to be the abandoned Black Forest Baptist Campgrounds.)
You'll see several chunks of logs on your left. Go past the fenceposts with awkward angles next to a rotting log on your left and follow the path east.
Stay on the trail into the woods. Look for a hollowed out stump on your right near the trail. There's a large twisted, fallen log about 10 feet off the trail, almost in line with the hollow stump.
Walk to the left side of the twisted log and look under crooked branch to find what you seek.
Please rehide well.

8/2/2025: The last box that I hid inside the hollowed out stump went missing, so I changed the clues to a new hiding spot. Happy hunting!
