The "Bevo" letterbox is located in Shoal Creek Greenbelt. This park
is near the University of Texas, and is a favorite for dog owners and
joggers.
Directions:
Park in parking area at 2600 Shoal Creek Blvd, off of the 2700 block
of N.Lamar.
To the letterbox:
>From the parking area, walk west about 50 yards to the map station
sign. From here, go 17 paces west along the broad
path to a small creek crossing and a wooden post. Leave the path,
going to your right to the green bench on the right (40 paces from
the post). From the bench, go uphill through the trees for 27 paces
at 290 degrees to a gate in the chain link fence. From the gate, go
11 paces to your right (north) along the fence. Now turn right and
go downhill at 100 degrees for 3 paces to the base of a tree. The
box is under a rock pile at its base.
