Directions: From RT.6 turn onto Upper Maple ST.from 101 take a left at
the intersection onto Upper Maple ST.From either way travel about 1 1/2
miles and turn onto Airport RD.you will see a sign saying Airport.Drive
up and over the hill the road will bend to the left and you will see a
feild on the left. drive to the end of the field and pull in and
park.you will see a pine tree to the right of the field, behind the pine
tree is three cedar trees. behind one of these trees is the North
Carolina State Letterbox under a flat rock covered with pine
needles.please rehind well.In the summer you can come here and watch
people parachute down in the field across the road.but on certain days
in the fall this box may be hard to do because the kids practice
football here.The NeeDeeps
