February 2014 Update: I have pulled both for maintenance, will update as soon as I replace. Thanks to all who have logged in!

Warning to those who insist on hand-carved stamps - these are commercial ones (but beautiful, we thought.)

At the Nature Center you should begin.
(Please take a map; no need to sign in.)
Along the right side of the Center you'll pass
To get to the boxes, the first and the last.

At the top of the incline, bear to the west;
but if a compass you lack, then take a left.
You'll pass a few tables and some old vines.
Take a swing on a strong one, if you have time.

You'll come to a trail marked by Braille and a rope.
Take a walk in the direction away from the slope.
Or, to put it another way, you'll do fine
To walk against the hands of time.

If you follow the rope you will soon find
That set on your right is a small bird blind!
Enter this hut and look out southwest
See the four-trunked birch near where our first stamp rests!

GO to the birch you saw from the blind.
Take a heading of 300 degrees if you don't mind.
Walk a few paces to the fallen birch with a "v"
And there you'll find the box that you seek.

Hide it again well for the next person to search.
And onward you go, read the signs as you pass.
There's good information about the tree sassafras.

You'll pass through a fence, not once but twice,
There's no gate to open, which is rather nice.
To the highest elevation point you must go,
But read the signs, or you'll never know.

Once you're at the peak, do look around.
The second stamp is there to be found.
With your compass, please walk at 150 degrees
Where there are two very close trees.

Or, if a compass is not in sight,
Take four paces forward and four paces right.
In one tree there's a hole in the base,
Our second letterbox is in that space.

We hope you've enjoyed our little quest,
And we thank you for being our guest.
We hope you learned about the bog on the way,
And that you enjoyed your hike today.
