Exit 11 on the Parkway
Entrance is free, but donations are accepted. A nice county park complete with duck pond, playgrounds, picnic areas, & a zoo. The park is open until dusk. However, the zoo closes at 4:45pm.
At the zoo entrance, take the bike path to the right. Follow it until you reach a fork in the road. Go right. Continue until you come to the intersection of the tar path and nature trail. Follow the nature trail to the left. Take 65 paces (1 pace = 1 average footfall). On the right is a tree that looks like a chair complete with a high back. The den is behind the tree. Please rehide well.
Caution! You will need to walk thru low bush here, so be careful of poison ivy. This is also a high traffic area on nice days, so be inconspicuous.
